Research shows daunting statistics about women's health. More than 38% of women in the U.S. over the age of 20 are obese; Heart Disease is the leading cause of death for women; and 1 in every 8 women develop cancer at some point. Each of these statistics are higher when focused on women of color.

While we know that various indicators and factors play a role into the various diagnoses, we also know that physical activity reduces the risk of dying from heart disease, developing high blood pressure, certain types of cancers and diabetes. Not to mention the perks of maintaining healthy bones and joins all while controlling one's weight.

Knowing these benefits, The Journey has a Physical Wellness Coach who offers live and on-demand fitness classes on a weekly basis. The coach also offers weekly healthy eating recipes.

Through various fitness challenges and accountability, women in The Journey have outstanding physical wellness results. Women in The Journey lose an average of 5 pounds a month, through the use of our exercise program. Additionally, though various women's health sessions, women engage in thoughtful dialogue led by experts in the field to help them make the most informative choices for their own health.
