This holiday season, The Journey was honored to sponsor 24 children through the Giving Tree for Glenview Elementary School in North Little Rock, Arkansas—ensuring each child received both a warm coat and toys for Christmas. What began as a simple act of generosity quickly became a powerful expression of love, dignity, and community care.
For many families, winter brings added challenges, and access to essentials like coats can make a meaningful difference. Through Audrey’s Pocket, the outreach arm of The Journey, we were able to meet both a practical need and a heartfelt desire—to see children experience warmth, joy, and the magic of Christmas. Each coat represented protection and care, while every toy symbolized celebration, hope, and the reminder that these children are deeply valued.
Partnering with Glenview Elementary School allowed us to directly support students and families right in their community. Behind every tag on the Giving Tree was a child with a story, a dream, and a need—and The Journey community stepped up with compassion and generosity to meet those needs.
Moments like these reflect the heart of Audrey’s Pocket: showing up, serving intentionally, and empowering communities through tangible acts of love. As we watched the impact of this outreach unfold, we were reminded that when we come together, even small acts can create lasting joy.
The Journey remains committed to outreach that restores hope and uplifts families—not just during the holidays, but all year long. Through Audrey’s Pocket, we will continue to pour into our communities, one act of love at a time.
