25 Boxes, 25 Smiles: Bringing Joy to Seniors This Christmas
Dec 16, 2025This Christmas season, The Journey was blessed to donate funds to sponsor 25 boxes for a local nursing home through Operation Christmas, extending love, care, and companionship to seniors in our community. While the holidays are often filled with celebration, they can also be a season of loneliness for many residents in nursing homes. This outreach was a meaningful way to remind them that they are remembered, valued, and deeply loved.
Through Audrey’s Pocket, the outreach arm of The Journey, we are committed to serving across generations. Partnering with Operation Christmas allowed us to reach seniors with dignity and intentionality, honoring their lives and the wisdom they carry. Seeing how a simple box could brighten a room and lift spirits was a powerful reminder that generosity, no matter the size, has the ability to transform hearts.
